For John Dickerson at Slate, the best part of the Easter Egg Roll at the White House was having a nice park where his kids could roll around in the grass.
"We never saw the president...But we wouldn't have rolled around on the grass like that on a normal Monday morning, we agree, and we definitely wouldn't have had a chance to do it in such a nice park. We leave feeling as lucky as we did going in."
Does anyone else find this a little sad? Lord, I hope there is at least one park in DC where his kids could roll in the grass on a normal monday morning. Anyone have any suggestions for Mr. Dickerson?
